Solidaridad e intereses en la cooperación internacional para el desarrollo: los casos de China y Japón en África

Las contradicciones entre la solidaridad y el interés que permean la cooperación internacional para el desarrollo pueden ser entendidas y analizadas desde las perspectivas críticas de la colonialidad del poder, de la hegemonía de Occidente en la definición de las reglas del juego, y también desde la comprensión de las relaciones asimétricas en la economía y la geopolítica internacional. Así, a partir de cuestiones clave informadas por esas perspectivas críticas y de un marco histórico desde fines de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, los autores analizan el papel de China y Japón y las tensiones que los programas de cooperación al desarrollo de estos dos gigantes asiáticos pueden suscitar en el continente africano en la actual coyuntura crítica del sistema internacional.
