Metafísica y ontología feministas en las Relaciones Internacionales

Resumen

¿Cómo la metafísica feminista informa los compromisos ontológicos de los feminismos en las Relaciones Internacionales (RI)? Desde la entrada de los feminismos en las RI, los debates sobre epistemología y metodología han dominado las discusiones entre las feministas de la disciplina. Las reflexiones sobre la ontología, en especial sobre el género como categoría, parecen resolverse en torno a la noción de construcción social. Sin embargo, exactamente qué y cómo se construye el género merece una mayor exploración en la investigación feminista de las RI. En este artículo, establezco un diálogo entre la Filosofía y las RI con el objetivo de aportar una metafísica feminista para la ontología del género. Recurro al modelo de atribución de Ásta para sustentar una forma de explicar los mecanismos de construcción social del género que interesan a las feministas en las RI y ejemplifico su uso a través del debate entre feministas empiricistas y críticas.
