Desentrañando el “misterio” de África: el “afropesimismo” como discurso hegemónico en el contexto de la pandemia del COVID-19

Esta investigación se centró en el desempeño de los países africanos con respecto a las políticas de salud pública en el contexto de la pandemia de covid-19 (2020-2021). El principal argumento es que la respuesta de los países africanos a la pandemia y el bajo número de muertes en el continente africano en general hicieron explícita una contradicción en el discurso hegemónico sobre la capacidad de los Estados africanos para actuar de manera eficiente ante la amenaza del virus. El marco teórico incluye enfoques posestructuralistas y poscoloniales de las relaciones internacionales (ri) y la metodología consistió en el análisis del discurso.
