Resumen

China y Corea del Norte han sido aliados desde su fundación a finales de la década de los cuarenta. La afinidad ideológica, la vecindad y la historia compartida contribuyeron a crear entre ambos países vínculos de gran relevancia. Sin embargo, el desarrollo del programa nuclear norcoreano, así como el ascenso de China hasta una posición mundial de gran peso, han cambiado la dinámica de la relación. Este proceso debe observarse atentamente, pues históricamente la relación entre estas naciones ha trascendido el ámbito bilateral, al tener importantes implicaciones regionales y ocupar un lugar prioritario en la agenda internacional de seguridad.

Maestra en Relaciones Internacionales
por la UNAM y miembro del Servicio Exterior Mexicano.
Actualmente está adscrita a la Embajada de México ante la
República Popular China.
